Structural and economic analysis of organic trout farms in Rize

Abstract (EN)

In this study, the structural and economıcal analysis of organic trout farms in Rize region has been investigated.In the interprises, surveyed, the greatest pation of active capital were land and ponds. The greatest portion of the expenses was fish. The most gross outcome of per unit pond area was in enterprise B (771,70 TL/ m2). The highest net profit in enterprise A, the lowest in enterprise F; the highest capital turn ratio in enterprise E, the lowest in enterprise F; the highest profitability in enterprise E, the lowest profitability in enterprise F. The average regional number of brood stock per farm was found 1 284 while the mean fecundity was determined as 2166.7 ova/female.The total productions of all the enterprises were estimated 471 tons/years but total organic productions 161 tons/years. Harvesting density of the ponds in these farms was found to be 19.01 kg/m3. Feed conversion ratio was computed 1.10.
