Abstract (EN)
In this study, in order to increase fruit size and quality, a total of 10 applications, including control, summer pruning, winter pruning, hand thinning, seaweed, potassium 1, potassium 2, maxim, maxim+K1 and maxim+K2, were applied to the Robinson mandarin variety grafted on bitter orange rootstock. Its effects on yield, fruit size, marketable fruit quantity and quality were investigated. The experiment was carried out in the Robinson production plot planted on bitter orange at a distance of 6 * 6 m at the Çukurova University Research and Application Farm. In the research, yield per tree (kg/tree), fruit weight, fruit width, fruit length, fruit index, number of seeds, shell thickness, TSS, Acid, TSS/Acid ratio, fruit set rate, marketable fruit rate and fruit subjective characteristics were examined. As a result of the research, while the yield per tree was found to be insignificant, the largest diameter fruits and the highest amount of juice were found in the maxim application, and the SSC/Acid ratio, which is the most important criterion for fruit maturity in citrus fruits, was found to be highest in the seaweed application. In Robinson mandarin, the highest amount of SSCM was in maxim+K2 (15.44%) and potassium 2 (15.34%) applications; The lowest SSCM was detected in winter pruning (13.66%).
