Özet (EN)

In this study, it was purposed that the effects of taking role modal behavior and physical activity attitudes on lesson selection. 328 female and 658 male students, totally 968, who were 7, 8, 9, 10th class student participated in research at 2015-2016 academic year. Cognitive Behaviorist Physical Activity Scale (CBPAS) was used in identification of participants' physical activity attitudes. SPSS 22.0 data analysis program were benefited from in analysis of data obtained. Descriptive statistics and frequency analysis was used in identification of participants' demographic aspects distribution and their answers to scale questions. In research scope, regression analysis was benefited from to identify mediation effect of physical activity attitude in relationship between taking role modal behavior and lesson selection intent. When first choice of students, participated to research, in optional lessons was examined, it was found that students' %41,0 preferred physical education and sport, their %8,7 sport and activity and %49,4 other lessons. It was established that teacher was at the head of factors which were effects students lesson selection. When correlation levels between variables were examined, it was established taking role modal variable had positive and low level correlation with all variables except personal barriers sub-dimension in terms of statistical (p<0,05). Similarly, it was established lesson selection intent had positive and low/modarate level correlation with all CBPAS sub-dimensions except personal barriers sub-dimension in terms of statistical (p<0,05). Besides, it was established that there were low level relationship between CBPAS total score and taking role modal, moderate relationship CBPAS total score with lesson selection intent (p<0,05). When handled in terms of demographic variables, it was established that students' taking role modal behaviors were differentiated as class variable in terms of statistical (p<0,05), as opposite to this, taking role modal behaviors were not differentiated as gender variable in terms of statistical (p>0,05). It was established that students' lesson selection intent was differentiated as gender variable in terms of statistical (p<0,05), as opposite to this, these was not differentiated as class variable in terms of statistical (p>0,05). Besides, it was established that students' physical activity attitudes were differentiated as gender variable in terms of statistical (p<0,05), as opposite to this, those were not differentiated as class variable in terms of statistical (p>0,05). As a result, it may be said that there was a significant relationship among students' taking role modal behaviors and and lesson selection intent and physical activity attitude, gender effects lesson selection intent and physical activity attitude, class level which taking education is determinant on taking role modal behavior.
