Access to education by Roman students

In this thesis study, access to education by Roman students having primary school education was analyzed based on the views of their teachers. Views of the teachers on non-Roman students studying at the same school were obtained and a comparison is made. Experimental group of the study is Roman students, whereas control group is non-Roman students studying at the same school.In depth qualitative interview technique was applied in the research and content analysis is made.As a result of evaluations it was determined that Roman students? most positive characteristics are participation into social activities, communication skills and self recognition, whereas their most negative characteristics are being solution focused, environmental sensitivity and efficient studying.While the most positive characteristics of non-Roman students are school culture, team work and efficient studying, their most negative characteristics are participation into social activities, environmental sensitivity and communication skills.As the most positive characteristics of Roman students are the most negative characteristics of non-Roman students, environmental sensitivity is the negative characteristic of both groups.Keywords: Education, right of education, ethnicity, Romans.
