Cinema version of the Picaresque, the start of the novel: Charlot of the World cinema, Saban of the Turkish cinema

Many studies have been made on the relation of the cinema and the other branches of the art. This study aims to analyze the relation of cinema with the Picaresque novel which is known to be the start of the modern novel and to identify the examples in the world cinema and the Turkish cinema. The main character of the Picaresque novel is called Picaro. I come up with saying, the very first example of picaro in cinema is Charlot (Chaplin) in the world cinema, and Saban in the Turkish cinema. The study is based on the analyze of the relation between the two forms of art by the analysis of the examples of the picaresque novel in cinema which we know is to be the critique of society alongside the comedy items by the many strangeness Picaro face among the social layer he belongs.
