Abstract (EN)

Amines form a important class of compounds in chemistry and biology. Amines are widely used in the manufacture of pharmaceuticals, chemicals, pesticides, polymers, dyes, pigments, emulsifiers and plasticizers. Practical methods for synthesizing amines have been developed over the last decade. However, these methods have disadvantages such as the use of environmentally harmful halide derivatives, the use of expensive amines as starting materials, the formation of large amounts of waste salt, and low selectivity. Therefore, it is important to develop a more efficient and environmentally friendly catalytic process. The automatic hydrogen transfer process used in amine synthesis in recent years does not require additional hydrogen and is therefore carried out at atmospheric pressure without the use of special equipment. Azolle ligands is an interesting class of ligands with properties similar to phosphines. The development of new catalysts is important because of the limited use of azole complexes in this field. Therefore, within the scope of the thesis, new azole precursors and complexes were synthesized and their catalytic activities in the synthesis of substituted amines were investigated. 1) Within the scope of this study, firstly 1-substituted benzimidazole (1a-e) was synthesized and their structures were determined by spectroscopic methods. 2) The corresponding coordinated Ru(II) complexes (2a-e) were synthesized by interacting the synthesized 1-substituted benzimidazole ligands with the [RuCl2(p-simen)]2 complex and their structures were elucidated by appropriate spectroscopic methods. 3) The catalytic activities of the synthesized Ru(II) complexes (2a-e) in the alkylation reaction of aniline derivatives with alcohols were investigated. Keywords: Amine, N-alkilation, hydrogene oto-transfer method, N-coordinate Ru(II)
