Abstract (EN)
The main goal of this dissertation research to the positive/negative influences of Russian Romances on the musical and technical improvement of Turkish vocal students.In the first part of the research given place to the term of Romance and definitions related to this term. Additionaly given to place of relationship between the terms of Romance and Opera, when the Romance term first time see demand in Russia, major Russian composers who gave pieces in the form of Romance and explanatory information about their Romances.In the second part, in the light of the results of interviews made with interviewers who teach/taught singing in the conservatorys of Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir and Eskisehir to reveal of influences of Russian Romances on the musical and technical development of Turkish vocal students.
