Süleymaniye Library Writing Donation poetry journal registered at number 2388/11 (1a-30a) (Transcription text-classification according to MESTAP)

The subject of the study is the poetry journal registered in the Süleymaniye Library Writing Donations 2388/11. Pages 1a-30a of the journal are within the scope of this study. In the study, first of all, the definition of magazine was made, poetry magazines and their importance were mentioned. Later, a copy description of the journal was made; The content, language and spelling features of the journal are mentioned. In addition, the verse forms and numbers used by the poets, the centuries in which the poets lived and their biographies were examined. Then, the path followed in the text, the comparative text transferred to transcription letters and the classification table of the journal are given according to MESTAP. İn the journal are 333 texts in total, including 2 prose and 331 poem. One of these text are presented in the journal as arz-ı hal, the other text is prose; 331 of them are gazel, kaside, müstezad, kıt'a, nazm, mesnevi, rubai, muhammes, tahmis, müseddes, tesdis, müsebba', müsemmen, mu'aşşer, terci-i bend, müfred, mısra-ı âzâde, şarkı, türkü which was recorded in 19 different verse forms. There are 87 poets in total in the journal. These poets lived in the between 13th-19th centuries.
