Contributions of S. Suzuki teaching in early age violin education and analyzing of technical development

In this study, Shinichi Suzuki's innovations in violin education at an early age, his discoveries, his philosophy, his books about his experiences and the first of the ten-book series of the Suzuki Violin School which was written by the Shinichi Suzuki, were examined. Today, because of the Suzuki Violin School method used all over the world, the age of starting the violin has fallen considerably and this method has become quite common and has been adapted to other instruments. Suzuki method is widely used in conservatories and pre-school education. S.Suzuki's process of creating this method, his life, mother tongue method, talent development and group lessons are quite impressive. Therefore, in the first part of this study: It is examined how he reflects his life, his experiences, his philosophy of life and education to his own violin method. In the second part of this study: the first book of Suzuki Methods "Suzuki Violin School 1" were analyzed about; how this system provides at the very early age the right and left hand technical development, how to progress talent, assesing how the mother tongue method was used in lessons and through practice how this contributes to future advancement. In the third chapter, interviews were made with Suzuki Instructors, who are experienced violin performers and devoted to this education, about the contributions of Suzuki teaching to violin education and early education.
