Abstract (EN)
This thesis begins with analyzing the features of the -sa morpheme in the fields of traditional grammar and linguistics. Then, the uses of the morpheme selected from genres such as religious texts, novels, stories, fairy tales, travel writings, prospectuses, songs were studied and their semantic values were tried to be determined. The usage of the sa morpheme is analyzed in textbooks and teaching programs to determine it's status in grammar teaching. It is observed that in the books, including visuals, there is an attitude, leading to rote learning, ignores the semantics and the functionality of language. Keywords: -sA morpheme, condition, optative.
