Critical edition and analysis of "Şerhu'l-Avâmili'l-Mie" by Sa'dullâh el-Berde'î

The Arabic language is of great importance in terms of understanding the Qur'an and Sunnah, which are the basis of our religion, and putting them into practice. Therefore, our scholars have put forward some rules so that the Arabic language is placed on a solid ground and the Qur'an is not misinterpreted or misunderstood. As a result of the valuable studies done, the science of syntax has taken its current form. Abdülkâhir Cürcânî wrote his work al-'Avâmilü'l-Mie, in which he dealt with the basic issues of syntax in a concise manner and was later accepted as one of the main works in the field of syntax. The work attracted a great deal of attention, and many commentaries, annotations and taliks were written on it both in the early period and in the Ottoman period. The work that is the subject of our thesis is Şerhu'l-'Avâmili'l-Mie written by Sa'dullâh al-Berde'î, one of the commentaries on 'Avâmil. In addition to being an early scholar, the author also wrote annotations on the al-Unmûzec work of Zemahşerî, an important name in the field of grammar. Şerhu'l-'Avâmili'l-Mie is very valuable because it is a widely used work in the field of Arabic language grammar in eastern madrasas. Although it has been published several times before, no study has been found that deals with the investigation and analysis of the work. For this reason, a healthier text will be tried to be revealed by comparing the manuscripts of the work.
