Abstract (EN)
Vector drive systems, which provide high-performance control of electric motors, are critical importance, especially in developing areas of use such as electric vehicle technologies. In parallel with the developments in the field of materials and power electronics, electric motors, which are even more popular in the field of passenger and freight transportation, are expanding their usage area, especially with the development of brushless motor technology, with the use of new types of motors. Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motors, which are in the class of brushless motors, have the ability to produce more torque than conventional motors of similar sizes, despite their small size. In order to bring these features to the fore at the maximum rate, it is of great importance to determine the control structure of the engine appropriately. The usage areas of vector drive systems are increasing thanks to their fast dynamic response and relatively simple structures. In this study, a new approach including fuzzy-based switching strategy is proposed for vector control of permanent magnet synchronous motor. The basis of this proposed approach is the fuzzification of the stator flux vector regions used in conventional control. In this way, it is ensured that the optimum switching state is produced by using the error values and the position of the flux vector. It has been determined that the approach tested with simulations for different load and speed operating scenarios provides a reduction of approximately 50% in torque fluctuations, although it differs according to operating conditions.
