Abstract (EN)

Economic Politics Perception of SFÜ and his Contributions to Turkish Ideology/Phlisophy/Thought, Master Thesis, Ankara, 2008Economics, ethics of economics, mentality of economics, economics and religion are the terms of rare use of the current era. Attainments of various gains are possible for Turkey and humanity in general if the outputs of present economics are looked over in the light of the terms mentioned. These terms are introduced to Turkish philosophy by SFÜ and he has been the unique reference on the subject through the unequaled works which he bequeathed to us. Ülgener proved that, rather than the method of economic theory restricted within the explanation on the basis of human-matter basis, an inclination towards human-human interaction would definitely lead to far saner results in the presence of concrete facts. With that perception, he suggests that the origin of Republic of Turkey is of greater significance than its destination. While scrutinizing human in various aspects in his interactions and researching their effects on society, he depicts structural autonomy of religion, its compulsive power on political society, economics and theoretical world in his works. This study, by perceiving the current economic developments from a different point of view, exhibits the basic reasons of chronicle economic problems of Turkey and how defected the mentality behind the mistakes committed is. It also suggests the improbability of a sustainable economic development through imported programs when added up with ignoring the social dynamics. Long lasting solutions are only attainable by taking such virtues as the traditions and customs of society, its history, moral structure, dynamics, and mentality into consideration.
