Abstract (EN)
In this thesis, definitions of single and double layer potentials are given and Dirichlet and Neumann problems are formulated as the Fredholm integral equations for the Laplace equation in . Single and double layer Helmholtz potentials are defined for the Helmholtz equations in .The solution of time harmonic wave scattering problem is investigated in a nonhomogeneous medium. Also the scattering problem of time harmonic electromagnetic waves with an infinite cylinder and the scattering problem of time harmonic plane wave in arbitrary cross section of this cylinder are analyzed.
