Evaluating of Sadreddin Efendi About Family Law Decision

Ottoman Empire taked on defense of Islam since its foundation. It was in force in a wide district in the world. So, development in the law that happened in the Ottoman Empire affects in a wide geography.Family Law Decision that brong into force in 25 October 1917 is one of the actions of enacting law (codifications) appeared after Tanzimat in Ottoman Empire. It has an important effect despite of its short validiting.Family Law Decision has a short validiting in the history. Because it was criticized by many parts of region. Because it has many new original features in the Islamic Law. Especially critiques of scientists who they have Islamısm thought effected Family Law Decision's abolition.We evaluate that critiques and especially Sadreddin Efendi's critiques and his biography in our thesis.
