In this study, it was aimed to determine of belowground, soil and aboveground biomass and carbon storage in pure black pine (Pinus nigra) and black pine (Pinus nigra)-red pine (Pinus brutia) mixed stands in Kütahya Regional Directorate of Forestry Gediz Forest Enterprise. For this purpose, 39 sample plots in pure black pine (Pinus nigra) stands and 14 samples in black pine (Pinus nigra)-red pine (-Pinus brutia) mixed stands were measured in Gediz Forest Enterprise. Measurements, observations and sampling were carried out for aboveground (tree, litter, shrub and dead wood), soil and belowground (roots) components in sample plots (200, 400, 600 and 800 m2) the sizes of which were determined according to the crown closure. Samples taken from field works were brought to the laboratory to determine the biomass and carbon content of these biomass. With the help of the obtained data, models have been developed to estimate the carbon storage amounts of living trees. Total ecosystem carbon storage was determined 190,47 ton/ha for pure black pine stands as an average. Total ecosystem carbon storage was determined 76,24 ton/ha for black pine-red pine mixed stands as an average.
