İş sağlığı ve güvenliğinin iş tatmini aracılığıyla çalışan performansı üzerindeki etkisi

The aim of this study is to investigate the effect of occupational health and safety on employee performance, as well as to examine the mediating role of job satisfaction in the relatioship between occupational health and safety and employee performance in a sample of furniture manufacturing firms. An online survey was conducted among employees at these furniture manufacturing firms. A total of 385 employees completed the survey. The study adopts a quantitative approach, using the PROCESS macro (Model 4) to examine mediation effects. The findings indicate that occupational health and safety have a considerable direct positive influence on employee performance. There were statistically significant regression models for occupational health and safety. However, as evidenced by a non-significant indirect impact suggests that job satisfaction did not significantly influence the association between occupational health and employee performance. Similar results were seen for occupational safety, where job satisfaction had a negligible and statistically insignificant mediation effect. These results imply that although job satisfaction may not be a powerful mediator in these connections, occupational health and safety do directly improve employee performance. In addition to providing insights for future research, the study adds to the body of literature by emphasizing the vital relevance of preserving occupational health and safety in organizational contexts and managerial practices.
