Psychological empowerment model in health promotion: A field study on diabetes patients

There is an increasing need for persuasive communication interventions in health communication field which has gained importance both in the World and in Turkey. Assuming that strategies created with the help of theories has been more powerfull, this study focused on effect of health literacy and psychological empowerment on health behavior. Whereas no relation has been found between health literacy and health behavior, positive relationship has been found between health behavior and psychological empowerment
