Abstract (EN)

This study aimed to examine the relationship between the perception of preparedness for CBRN-P events and the crisis management level of personnel working in the field of health. The sample of the research consists of 475 people. SPSS 26 package program was used to analyze the data. It was determined that 8.0% of the participants took part in the CBRN-P incident, 25.1% received CBRN-P training, and 38.5% wanted to receive CBRN-P training voluntarily. Cronbach Alpha coefficients with all sub-dimensions; 0.900 in preparedness and 0.966 in crisis management performance. There is no significant difference between all sub-dimensions of the CBRN-P incident preparedness perception and crisis management scales according to gender (p>0.05). Nurses' perception of preparedness is significantly higher than other professional groups. There is a statistically significant difference between the preparedness perception scores of those who took part in CBRN-P incidents (p<0.05). There is a statistically significant difference between all sub-dimensions of the preparedness perception scale and the pre-crisis activities dimension of those who have previously received CBRN-P training (p<0.05). According to regression analysis modelling, CBRN-P event preparedness perception dimensions have a significant effect on the pre-crisis activities dimension (p<0.05). This study emphasizes the importance of healthcare personnel receiving training on CBRN-P. It is thought that the inclusion of all hospital personnel in institutional training and exercises and the use of alternative training methods can be effective in increasing the level of knowledge in CBRN-P incidents, perception of preparedness and crisis management processes.
