Abstract (EN)

The concept of effectiveness in graduate education is important for evaluating the success of the institution. In a given environment and with given resources, organizational performance and efficiency can be measured with effectiveness assessment. Aim: The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness of the Health Sciences Institute of Dokuz Eylül University, which is engaged in graduate-level education, scientific research and implementation. Method: The question form, improved by using Cameron's study, was composed of a Likert-type scale. Sample size of the study is 168 graduate students and 60 faculty members. The questionnaire was applied to students and faculty members of Health Sciences Institute in the 2010-2011 academic year. Statistical analysis of the data obtained from the filled-in questionnaires, was made with SPSS 16.0 software package. The frequency analysis, descriptive statistics, reliability and validity analysis, factor analysis, t-test, ANOVA test, correlation analysis and regression analysis were evaluated.
