Abstract (EN)

Information systems, one of the areas where technology is used the most today, are systems consisting of computer hardware and software, used to store, obtain, analyze and deliver information to the necessary groups, and facilitate access to information and communication. However, due to the natural disasters that have occurred in recent years, technological developments that are accepted as factors causing global warming have made it necessary to take precautions. Green informatics; is a concept that emerged with the aim of eliminating or minimizing the environmental, economic and social negativities that have emerged with the increase in the use of technology, and enables the use of information systems to be brought to a controllable state. Creating green informatics awareness of individuals is an important element in reducing the negativities of information systems. In this context, the aim of the thesis study is to determine the green informatics awareness status of healthcare professionals, to evaluate healthcare informatics systems within the scope of green informatics and to create awareness. Within the scope of this study, firstly, the adaptation studies of the Evaluation of Health Informatics Systems within the Scope of Green Informatics scale were completed, then the validity and reliability analyses of the scale were completed with CFA and EFA analyzes so that it can be used in studies. For the application of the scale determined to be valid and reliable, the research data was applied online to 1008 health workers in Trabzon province with the "Evaluation of Health Information Systems within the Scope of Green Information" scale. The model of the study was analyzed using the structural equation model. According to the results of the study, it was determined that while the environmental benefits of health information systems and environmental responsibility factors affect the attitude towards health information systems, awareness of the real situation of the environment does not affect the attitude. It was concluded that the attitude towards health information systems has a significant effect on the level of health information systems usage. For the literature, it is thought that the first use of the scale used in the study will shed light on future studies.
