Abstract (EN)
In the scope of this study, Three Dimensional Organizational Commitment Scale developed by Meyer and Allen (1990) is used to determine the commitment level of nurses to Manisa Merkezefendi State Hospital where they are working and to what extent is satisfied from their profession, as the level of their job satisfaction is measured by using Minnesota Job Satisfaction Scale. Initially, organizational commitment and job satisfaction phenomena taking place in the context of all employees are covered in the scope of job satisfaction and organizational commitment cases. During the implementation phase, organizational commitment levels within the context of the sub-dimensions such as management style, working conditions, development and promotion opportunities and colleagues of nurses working in the public sector, physical environment, wages and staff were investigated. The organizational commitment level of health care workers was tried to be determined by addressing the three different dimension of organizational commitment which are affective commitment, continuance commitment and normative commitment. In addition, the commitment level of health care workers has been analyzed whether it varies based on their demographic characteristics or not. In the scope of the findings obtained from the study; it is possible to say that as the education level and age of nurses become higher, their job satisfaction and organizational commitment level also increase.
