Abstract (EN)
Workaholism and job crafting are two topics that have gained popularity in recent years, directly or indirectly affecting employees and organisations alike. Workaholism, which is defined as excessive work at an addictive level, and job crafting, whereby employees organise their own work, are both becoming increasingly important. Employee well-being, performance and health are extremely important in terms of an organisation's productivity and sustainability. Based on this, the main objective of this study is to measure levels of workaholism and job crafting behaviour among healthcare workers, and examine the relationship between these two behavioural models. Additionally, this study has determined the extent to which certain sociodemographic variables influence workaholism and job crafting, and has examined the levels of these two behaviours across different sociodemographic groups. The study population comprises healthcare workers (nurses, physicians, specialist physicians, midwives, healthcare technicians, and medical technicians) working in all healthcare institutions in the Ardahan provincial centre, and the sample group consists of 433 individuals who could be reached through the census method. The study used a survey model, and the data collected via an online questionnaire were analysed using the SPSS 27.0 statistical program. The study's findings indicate that workaholism and job crafting levels are high among healthcare workers, and that these levels are influenced by demographic variables. Additionally, a positive relationship was found between the two variables.
