Abstract (EN)

This research, Paşabahçe State Hospital medical staff in family violence cases to determine the point of view and in domestic violence cases in order to determine their attitudes related to professional role has been is a descriptive study.Health workers in Istanbul Paşabahçe State Hospital research constitutes the universe. Among health workers and nurses to physician surveys practical purpose of domestic violence cases as compared with the intensive. Study, 102 medical employees (physicians and nurses) questionnaire was administered. Research between June 2009-January 2010 were made.Study as a means of data collection, interview form, the health workers if more questions, health workers, domestic violence related to the questions concerning attitudes and domestic violence linked likert-scale questions prepared consisting of 35 questions was applied. The data obtained by statistical procedures were done in SPSS 16.0 program.Study results, according to employee health careers in the rate of 83.3% in domestic violence cases compared with the health 30.4% employees' reputation of the domestic violence cases working in a hospital social workers and redirects to the judicial dimension of the move have been identified. Health workers 76.5% of family life education and vocational training on domestic violence has not received the data as a result of health employees about domestic violence should also be given training point to start the necessary work is intended.Key Words: Violence, Family Violence, Health Employee
