Özet (EN)

In this study, administrative problems of the nurses who work in various private hospitals located in the province of Kayseri were investigated and some solutions for these problems were offered. Within the context of the study, a questionnaire was administered to 202 nurses who work in 4 different private hospitals in Kayseri. Data obtained from the study were analyzed using with One Way ANOVA and Independent Sample t Test. As a result of the study, problems regarding the nurses were defined and some recommendations were suggested for these problems. As to the questionnaire administered, the managerial problems nurses face are these: the inadequacy of cooperation and teamwork, the lack of communication channels, to bedevilment of management by diversity of personnel, the lack of professional managers, in adequate in-service training, low motivation of nurses and to create conflict because of education levels. The solution suggestions to problems found in the study are these: teamwork should be encouraged, working conditions of nurses should be improved, motivation of personnel should be cared about, in-service trainings should be prepared according to the nurses demands, management trainings should be managers, internal regulations of institutions should be revised.
