Abstract (EN)

In healthcare organizations, there are too many job descriptions. For this reason, healthcare organization has special characteristics like functional commitment. Healthcare staff can not act separately, common decisions which are appropriate for all staff must be implement, even in a part of them breaking off in the system may have a very large disturbances. The main aim of the study is determine the level of motivation of healthcare staff, perceptions and assessments of motivation dimensions according to demographic characteristics, relationship between the motivation dimensions and importance level of motivation.Study realized in a training and research hospital which located in Izmir. For the purpose of the research primarily and secondary data was obtained. To determine the motivation level, 5 point scale was used. Firstly the reliability analyze was conducted. Then descriptive statistics, independent samples t-test and one way ANOVA test were carried out.According to participants? genders, ages, incomes, education levels, jobs, working durations in the job and in the organization, there are significantly differences in some motivation dimensions. As a conclusion, analyzing the healthcare staff perceptions about motivation, identifying the motivation level, important motivation tools for the staff and defining objectives and strategies according to these findings can be increase the healthcare organization effectiveness.
