Abstract (EN)

The aim of this thesis is to investigate the effect of personality traits of managers working at health trade unions in Istanbul on their trade union perceptions. The research is conducted on managers working in health trade unions in Istanbul. Random sampling technique is used as data collection technique. Regression analysis and ANOVA analysis are performed with SPSS software. According to the results of the regression analysis, personality traits of health trade union managers have statistically significant effect on trade union perceptions. In the analysis performed according to gender variable, it is found that women participants' personality trait of openness to experience levels are higher than men participants'. In the analysis made according to the trade union management variable; it has been found that those who have been trade union managers for 11 to 15 years have higher neuroticism levels than those who have been trade union managers for 3 to 5 years.
