Allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation; is done to patients have malign or nonmalign disorders. For this stem cells are taken from the healthy donor, cord blood or peripheric blood hematopoietic stem cells which are mobilized (separated from bone marrow and entering circulation) with granulocyte colony stimulating factor, are used.In our study we examined the effects of the mobilization with G-CSF and apheressis process?s on inflammatory marker, oxidative stress and antioxidant capacity.In this study; mobilization with G-CSF in 4. th day, immediately after apheresis and 24 hours after apheresis process compared to basal condition (before G-CSF) showed a statistically insignificant increase in serum IL-6 levels. 1 week after apheresis compared to basal values IL-6 levels showed a significant decrease. Serum hs-CRP levels; mobilization with G-CSF on 4.th day, immediately after apheresis process and 24 hours after apheresis process, were found significantly high compared to basal values. 1 week after apheresis indicating a decrease and took a value near to basal condition.In healthy donor serum ferritin levels; mobilization with G-CSF on 4.th day, immediately after apheresis, 24 hours after apheresis and 1 week after apheresis were found significantly high.In our study compared to basal levels we found serum futher oxidation protein products (AOPP) levels significantly low on 4.th day mobilization with G-CSF (before apheresis process). At the end of apheresis rising of AOPP levels 24 hours after apheresis and at the 1.st week of apheresis we have detected that continue to be remained significantly high. we found that serum albumin levels mobilization with G-SCF on 4. th day, end of apheresis and 24 hours after apheresis significantly lower than basal values. 1 week after apheresis we found that rising take a value near the basal condition.Serum malondialdehyde (MDA) levels, mobilization with G-CSF on 4.th day nevertheless it was low compared to basal values, this decline was not significant. Apheresis end, 24 hours after apheresis and 1 week after apheresis serum MDA levels had continued to decline significantly.Serum total antioxidant capacity (TAC) levels mobilization with G-CSF on 4. th day, immediately after apheresis process, 24 hours after apheresis process and 1 week after apheresis process compared to basal it was found significantly high.This study show that mobilization with G-CSF and apheresis process cause oxidative stress and inflamation in healthy peripheric stem cell donor but not lead to degradation of tissue. Furthermore this process effected iron metabolism. Continuation of studies on this subject, mobilization with G-CSF and potential damage of apheresis process in healthy donor even at 6 months and 1 year periods searching we think that more reliable conclusions could be reached.
