Effects of home based exercises on healty women's physical activity level: Yoga exercises

Abstract (EN)

Aim: Exercises are indispensible of healty life. It must be sustainable, low cost, accecible.For them indoor can be prefered.The firstly goal of this study is women trainees of ADEM 2. To examine their sport habits, and effecting factors of them and the indoor(home), exercise training (education) including yoga exercises effect about physical activitie levels. Material and Methods: In this study , the survey has been done with the 126 women attendants demografic information and sport perception from Diyarbakır ADEM meanwhile, yoga exercises has been given the 38 women that doesn't do any exercises at home which low cost and accecible.The search group was followed for a month.The physical activitie levels of those women were measured at the beginning of every week and at the end of practice with IPAQ. Results: In the first part of study; There is meaningful relationship that does sport between trainees for sport course and the persons have habits of sports between the persons have chronical diseases. It's not found a meaningful relationship sports habit between number of children, educational status, marital status, income status and smoking habits. In the second part of the study; Yoga exercise group. The physical activity levels of the womans participating to the home exercise was observed to meaningful increase for the first and second weeks (p<0.05). Conclusion: In this study education of exercise increased the physical activitie level but the effect of exercise training(education) on the level of the physical activitie lasted for 2 weeks.
