Özet (EN)
Aim: This research aims to investigate the compatibility and comparisons of the tests in the Health-Related Physical Fitness Report Card (HRFRC) with the international standardized FITNESSGRAM, Assessment of Physical Activity Levels (ALPHA) and AAHPERD Youth Fit-ness Test batteries. Methods: In this research, 100 students, 51 females, and 49 males, studying at the 6th-8th grade level, participated voluntarily. SIFUK, FITNESSGRAM, ALPHA, and AAHPERD test batteries were applied to the participants. The relationships between the tests used to measure the same motoric feature in different test batteries were analyzed using correlation analysis. In addi-tion, canonical correlation analysis was used to determine the relationship between the variables included in the test batteries. Results: A moderate correlation was observed between the stretch and squat test used to measure flexibility in SIFUK and the flexibility tests in the other test batteries. However, no sig-nificant correlation was found between the results of the shuttle test used to measure muscular endurance in SIFUK and the running tests in the general test batteries. Similarly, the results of the push-up test used to measure muscular strength in SIFUK did not show a significant correla-tion with the hand grip strength test included in the common test battery. Instead, it showed a moderate correlation with other strength tests. In addition, the results of the canonical correla-tion analysis conducted to determine the holistic relationship between SIFUK and the global test batteries showed a high degree of correlation between SIFUK and FITNESSGRAM, but a lower degree of correlation with the other test batteries. Conclusion: This study focused on physical fitness measurements based on the easy app-licability and accessibility of the SIFUK Test Battery. These characteristics suggest that the FIT-NESSGRAM Test Battery is a suitable reference to extend the scope of SIFUK. Unlike SIFUK, the global test battery includes a running-based endurance test. Therefore, the addition of an endurance run to the SIFUK test battery could increase the scope of physical fitness measured. Such an addition would increase the coverage of SIFUK and bring it closer to international stan-dards.
