While 94.7% of the students accepted that their profession was open to violence, 26.9% reported that they had been exposed to violence at least once. The most common type of violence was psychological violence with 92.0%. The most common place of exposure was other places other than outpatient and inpatient clinics, and it was determined that they were mostly subjected to violence by patients. In conclusion, in order to reduce violence in health care, the necessary health policies should be implemented, people who are prone to violence should be identified and the necessary criminal procedures should be applied, the necessary training programmes should be given to students who are exposed to violence on what to do, and it should be ensured that there is someone responsible for the education of students during training processes when they are alone with patients and their relatives.
