Özet (EN)

The existence of various forms of religious music has been detected in the performances performed in mosques and private venues, especially in lodges, associations, foundations and local sects operating within Sakarya. In the studies carried out within the associations and foundations established in Sakarya, different types of dhikr are performed, either vocally or silently, with a Sufi approach. It has been observed that religious music was used effectively in these chants and that more than one form of religious music was included in these performances. Studies on religious music performance in the field of mosque music in Sakarya were also identified. In addition, the names of the mosque officials in Sakarya who are known for their religious music performances and who contributed to religious music by educating students in this field were identified and new works specific to Sakarya were introduced. Mawlid programs, which have become a tradition in Sakarya and are held regionally, have also been identified. With all these studies, religious musical practices performed in Sakarya from past to present are generally discussed. What these forms were, where they were used, and with what attitude and style they were recited were determined. In Sakarya, new works that are important for the Turkish religious music tradition and have not been notated before have been identified. These works have been recorded and their notes are included in the relevant sections.
