Analysis of literary arts in Salih Baba Divan

In this study, the literary arts based on metaphor, meaning and word in Salih Baba Divan have been determined by subjecting them to a certain classification. In our thesis, literary arts are classified, defined and exemplified by making use of revelant sources. With the literary arts that emerged as a result of classification, some conclusions were reached regarding the use ofliterary arts in the divan. In line with these results, the tendencies and priorities of the poet in the use of literary arts have been determined and put forward. In this context, care has been taken to set an example for similar studies in this field. The identification, classfication and interpretation of the literary arts in Salih Baba's Divan, one of the important poets of the nineteenth-century divan poetry, not only provides a more detailed revelation of the poet's choices in this field, but also provides us with detailed information about the poet's style and the world of poetry.
