People cadre and characterization in Sâmiha Ayverdi's novels

The novel is fiction, but one that reflects and feeds on reality. The main thing in the novel is that the narrative is consistent within itself rather than reflecting the truth or truth. The consistency of the elements that make up the novel, its function in the fictional structure and its place in the fiction of the novel is of great importance. Each element that constitutes the fiction of the novel which has a fictional structure, has separate functions within the narrative. The stage of introducing the personality element, which is one of the indispensable elements of the novel, to the reader and their distrubution in harmony with the novel, although it a matter that requires attention, also reflects the success of the author in applying her art. Sâmiha Ayverdi, one of the important thinker writers of the Republic Period, has gained a unique in the world of literature with the works she created. The works written by the author are novels with thesis. The effects of the political, social, social and cultural events that the writer had witnessed in her lifetime on families and individuals are also included in the background of almost all of these novels, which are dominated by religious and mystical elements. The writer took her duty convey what she knew correctly to the reader and made use of different expression techniques. Many researchers have studied the novels of Sâmiha Ayverdi until today. However, the participation of the novel persons in the plot has not been examined functionally and the narrative techniques used in the introductory stage of these individuals to the reader were not subjected to a thorough examination. The author, carefully chooses her people and deals with psychological aspects rather than their extarnel image depiction, has combined them in the narrative by using bot traditional and modern techniques. The author sometimes introduced her persons directly and sometimes presented them with their behavior, enabling the reader to make inferences about the character. In this study, Sâmiha Ayverdi ignored the narrative techniques due to her novels being thesis; Contrary to the unfair criticism that they did not use, know, or care about them, it was attempted to demonstrate that the author carefully selected her characters accordingly and used different techniques while putting forward her thesis. In addition, it has been tried to show that the success of the author in presenting the content depends on her mastery in characterization.
