Abstract (EN)
In this study, the impact behavior of composite sandwich is made is increased. Sandwich Composites core material is made of 6063 series aluminum material and the circular hole. The upper and lower layers hybrid (glass + carbon) was formed from the composite material, the plate thickness of 1 mm was produced. Cylindrical core material in three different diameters of Ø8, Ø10 and Ø12 mm in diameter, and 1 mm wall thickness have been selected. Cylindrical material forming the core is the fortification with foam and impact tests were performed on a portion filled materials and compared with unfilled samples. Filled and unfilled samples to three different energy levels 15, 30 and 45 J impact energy level were carried out. As a result of crash impact tests of the sandwich composite, contact force and the absorbed energy were calculated.
