Contextual index and functional dictionary of Şani Divan's

In literary texts, it is possible to get an idea about the emotional world of poets and/or writers through the meanings of words in the context in which they are used. Evaluating the vocabulary of divans written in different centuries in context requires a time-consuming and detailed process. In order to overcome this complexity and effectively manage such intensive studies, the TEBDİZ (Contextual Index and Functional Dictionary of Historical and Literary Texts) system has been developed. TEBDIZ is a research infrastructure capable of contextual analysis of literary texts and presenting these analyses on a single platform. In the study we created using the TEBDİZ system, all the vocabulary of the Dîvân written by a poet with the pseudonym Şânî was interpreted within the framework of the context in which they were used, and the poet's world of imagination was tried to be understood based on the resulting data. In this way, information about many elements such as the poet's understanding of art, language and stylistic features has been obtained. At the end of our evaluations, the glossary section, which we present in the appendix, has taken its place in the system as the manifestation of a long work. Thus, the vocabulary of Şânî Dîvânı has been made easily accessible. With these features, our study will make important contributions in terms of data to comparative studies and other researches to be carried out in the future, such as contextual index and functional dictionary studies.
