Abstract (EN)
While the game has such beautiful and positive results on children, when we look today, we abserve that children do not play games as much as they used to. Instead of running and playing on the streets, children have started to enjoy the virtual games on tablets, computers and mobile phones. In short, we can say that writh the development of technology, local games. The cümof this study is to reveal children's games which have a great contribution to the development and socialization of the child and to transfer them to future generations. In this study children's games especially the provience of Şanlıurfa and in all districts of Şanlıurfa were tried to be compiled, when we look at the compiled games, we see that some games are played only in Şanlıurfa region and some of them are playing in almost every region. This sudy consists of three parts. In the first section it is included that, game definition, game function, game culture-relationship, important elements in the game, game rules and methods of determining the punished child in the game. In the second section, the urban features and ethnic origins of Şanlıurfa and its districts are included. In the third section, the children's games compiled in Şanlıurfa and its districts and the pictures of these game are included.
