Abstract (EN)

The Çorum province, in the north-central part of Turkey, which is a region where the different continental blocks are located in the middle-inner Black Sea. Devecidağ Mixture, Artova ophiolite complex, Alacahöyük, Bayat, Kızılırmak, Dodurga and Bozkır formations units and Dededağ granitoid units and quartz veins are cropped out in the study area. Near the mineralization, these units are seen to consist of extremely altered volcanic rocks, andesite-basalt-trachyte and tuffs. The silica veins associated with the mineralization outcrop at a surface of 700 meters in NE-SW direction southeast of Şaphane village. Pyrite, hematite, limonite and gold were observed as ore minerals in quartz veins. Fluid inclusions data indicate that the ore forming fluids contain NaCl, CaCl2 and MgCl2 as salts, the salinity values (wt. % eq. NaCl ) vary between 8% and 0.5% in quartz, 7.4 and 1.4% in calcite, and the temperature of the fluids varies between 161 and 395°C. According to element geochemistry studies, samples fall into basalt, basaltic andesite, andesite and dacite-rhyolite areas. According to the dendogram prepared as a result of the statistical calculations for all the elements, it is seen that the elements are gathered in basically two classes and in the lower groups much more. In addition, it was observed that the gold values in the samples varied between 21 and 148 ppm, and the gold values increased against the SiO2 ratio.
