Abstract (EN)
In this study, cyclic feeding strategy yellow princess cichlid (Labidochromis caeruleus) effects of different feeding strategies (diet regimen) on growth performance and coloration were investigated. Trial; the four groups were arranged as 12 aquariums with three replications. Each aquarium has a total of 180 fish with a total initial weight of 2.04 g with an average weight of 2.04 g, feeding twice a day until the same hour, group 1 (A); continuous feeding for 60 days, group 2 (B); 1 day hungry + 4 days continuous feeding, 2 days hungry 8 days continuous feeding (4) cycle) 3rd group (C); 3 days open + 12 days continuous feed (4 cycles) 4th group (D); they were fed 1 day fasting + 1 day full for 2 months (60 days). Feed intake of the fish was monitored visually during feeding and feeding was stopped when the interest of the fish decreased. At the end of the experiment, live weight gain ratio (CAAO,%) was found to be highest in group A (65,118), C (48,897), B (46,591) and lowest in D group (25,467), respectively. The difference between the groups A and D was found to be significant (P <0.05), and the difference between the other groups was found to be insignificant (P> 0.05). The highest specific growth rate (SBO,%) was seen in group A (0.844) fish, respectively in group C (0.662), group B (0.647) and lowest in group D (0.367). The difference between group A and group D was found to be significant (P <0.05), and the difference between the other groups was not significant (P> 0.05). Feed consumption (PT) was highest in Group A (38,180 g), and was observed in Group C (32,670 g), Group B (32,313 g) and D group (21,760 g), respectively. The difference between group A and group D and group B and C was found to be significant (P <0.05), and the difference between the other groups was not significant (P> 0.05). Total body weight increases (TCAA, g) were highest in group A (20,207), respectively in group C (14,680), group B (14,103) and lowest in group D (7,807). The difference between group A and group D was found to be statistically significant (P <0.05) and the difference between the other groups was not significant (P> 0.05). Feed evaluation ratio (FCR) was highest in group D (3,110), which was observed in group B (2,641), group C (2,247) and lowest group A (2,095), respectively. The difference between group D and group A was found to be significant (P <0.05). the difference between the other groups was found to be insignificant (P> 0.05). The survival rate (YO,%) was highest in the C group (100), and A, D groups (97.77) were the lowest and B group (93.33), respectively. The difference between group C and other groups was found to be statistically insignificant (P> 0.05). The color parameters L*, a *, b *, Hue (Habo), Chroma (ch) measured in the experiment contain significant values. The highest brightness (L *) value (63,507) was determined in the group (A) fed daily (P<0.05). The b * value representing the yellow color was found to be significant in the highest A group (50,663) (P <0.05) and in the other groups (B and C) the b * values were higher than D (42,411) group. At the end of the experiment, the Habº values of the fishes in the groups were obtained in terms of the angular values of the yellow color, the Habº angle was obtained in the yellow color values in all groups. Habº angle was highest in the groups A, (95,437), (B) group (94,543), (D) group (94,281) and (C) group (93,308) values were determined, the difference between the group A and C group was found to be significant, while the difference between the groups B and D was found to be insignificant.
