Abstract (EN)
In this study, it is aimed to determine the alpha species diversity and to reveal the relationship between plant diversity and environmental factors of Sarıkaya Wildlife Development Area and its surroundings (Antalya), which are among the richest areas of Turkey in terms of plant diversity. Starting from sea level, all Mediterranean vegetation layers were evaluated in this context and 104 areas were sampled within the scope of the study. Around 4500-5000 taxa were recorded from all areas and a total of 931 different plant taxa were identified. Alpha diversity values of the sample areas were calculated according to Shannon-Wiener, Simpson, Berger-Parker, Brillouin, Margalef, Menhinick and Chao1 indices using the BİÇEP software. In order to determine the effects of environmental variables on alpha diversity, 24 different parameters were considered according to topography and how these parameters affected diversity was revealed by correlation analysis. According to the Spearman correlation results, each of the 7 different alpha diversity indices was negatively correlated with altitude, topographic position index, vegetation layers, doline/uvala habitat type (excluding Berger-Parker index) and relative slope parameters, while positively correlated with valley depth and pebble parameters. out. Diversity gradually decreases with increasing altitude in the research area, thus, the areas with the highest alpha diversity are located in the Thermo-Mediterranean vegetation layer. Especially the areas with low tpi and relative slope due to the increase in valley depth were evaluated as rich in alpha plant diversity. Pebble bedrock is also among the parameters that increase diversity.
