Abstract (EN)
The defense industry is a globally strategically important sector in which technological innovations are developing rapidly. Managing technology at the right time and with the right methods is critical for reducing costs, increasing competitive advantage and achieving long-term strategic goals. In this context, investigating the role of technology management in the defense industry and methods to increase the effectiveness of these processes has become a fundamental requirement for the sustainable success of the sector. This thesis aims to develop a technology management model for technology management in the defense industry to increase the achievement of targets and increase transaction success. In accordance with the special structure of the defense industry, technology management has been divided into theoretical and practical aspects, especially cross-sectional evaluation frameworks using multi-criteria decision making (MCDM) tools (such as the MOORA method). This approach enables the determination of important criteria in the analysis of increasing visibility and increasing a new perspective in management. At the same time, new approaches to monitoring projects are presented in the study and an example of a monitoring strategy is presented. The importance of the study is the scope of the necessity of technological developments in the defense industry. Effective monitoring and evaluation of technologies are critical factors that directly address success in the sector and achieving long-term goals. The technology management model presented in the thesis aims to support more efficient features and software management in the defense industry by providing suggestions to increase the financial and restructuring of the system.
