Abstract (EN)

In this study, the effects of different photoperiod regimens on the growth parameters of the mirror carp (Cyprinus carpio) growth in cages were investigated. Large fish groups with a mean live weight of 73.53 ± 25.50 g and small fish groups with a mean an average live weight of 24.46 ± 8.20 g were used in the study. Natural lighting (A) for each group of fish; 18A: 6K (18 hours illumination, B) and continuous illumination (C) 3 different photoperiod regime was applied. Big fish group is named as 1, small fish group 2. A total of 27.411 juvenile mirror carp were used in the experiment. In the study, the fish in the experimental groups were fed daily for 196 days, respectively 3, 4, 5 times a day. At the end of trial, the big fish were A1; B1; C1; While 2462.35±9.4 g, 2686.88±37.01g, and 2955.11±37.93 g respectively, general FCR 1.52; 1.86; 2.01 g, general SGR was found to be 1.86±0.05, 1.89±0.04, 1.94±0.03. At the end of 196 days, small fishes were determined as A2; B2; C2; 1234.79±82.33g, 1748.84±22.02 g, 1905.71±43.92 g respectively, while the general FCR was 1.33; 1.44; 1.61, general SGR 2.14±0.02; 2.31±0.02, 2.36±0.02. At the end of the experiment, it was determined that 18L:6D lighting regime had a positive effect on the growth and development performance of mirror carp fish.
