Abstract (EN)

Although said to have a wide distribution symherobius pygmaeus is a hunter that lacks a detailed study about its biology and ecology except for a few faunistic and systematic study of Rambur. This study is performed for this reason and throughout the study different temperatures' influences on S. pygmaeus's development and fecundity are investigated at 15, 20, 25 ,30 and 35 °C constant temperatures with %60±10 proportional humidity in 16 hours long day lightening climate fridges.The development process from egg to adult decreased with increasing temperatures. While the development wasn't completed at 15°C and 35 °C temperatures,the longest development process was at 20°C with 133 days and the shortest process was at 30°C with 29 days. The oviposition period lasted 22,00, 19,58 and 2,38 days at 20,25 and 30°C respectively. Daily and total egg production rate was highest at 25°C with 11.9 female/day and 2.58 female/lifetime. Net breeding potency and genetic breeding capacity were highest at 25°C as 109,31 female/female and 0,1235 femake/female/day and avarage progency period was lowest at 30°C as 23,49 day.
