The effect of ajve date on irisin levels in rats

Irisin promotes browning of white adipose tissue and regulates glucose and lipid homeostasis. The anti-inflammatory, anti-apoptotic and anti-oxidative properties of irisin attract great attention from the scientific community. It has therapeutic potential for the treatment of metabolic disorders.It is known that ajwa dates have positive results on antioxidant defense systems and improve the parameters of oxidative stress, inflammation, hyperglycemia, hyperlipidemia, glucose homeostasis, memory and learning disorders.The aim of this study is to determine the effect of ajwa date consumption on irisin levels.
