Özet (EN)

In this study, phenol based Schiff base ligands obtained by condensation of salicylaldehyde with o-phenylenediamine, p-phenylenediamine and ethylenediamine were synthesized and polymerized by oxidative polycondensation reaction. Co(II) and Mn(II) complexes of synthesised Schiff base ligands and their polymers were prepared and characterized by analytical and instrumental methods. The catalytic properties of these complexes in the oxidation of styrene and benzyl alcohol were investigated. The analysis of the products was performed by GC-FID and GC-MS spectroscopic methods. Key words: Schiff base, oxidative polycondensation, metal complexes, oxidation reactions, catalytic activity.
