Abstract (EN)

The purpose of this thesis is to determine usability of flower analysis in specifying requirement of plant nutrient of peach trees. For this purpose, a Spring Bella peach orchard was chosen in Aydın-Soğucak. Flower, soil and two different periods of leaf samples were sampled from the orchard. Physical and chemical analysis on soil samples and chemical analysis on leaf and flower samples were carried out. The relationships between the data obtained by flower analysis and the results obtained by leaf and soil analyses were investigated. The results showed that some relationships between flower analyses and 2nd period leaf samples can be used in estimation of peach trees' nutrition condition. Nitrogen, Mg, Fe and Mn are among these elements. Additionally the sub findings obtained from the research revealed that early period (1st period) leaf sampling can be used especially for the estimation of K and Mn elements' level in plants. Some other important relationships between soil plant nutrient contents and B, K, Fe, Cu, Mn contents of different plant tissues were also determined. Key Words: Prunus persica, Spring Bella, flower analysis, early period leaf analysis
