Istitrâd in Sehî Beg and Latîfî Tezkires

We dwell upon the narrative stories specified istidrad in Sehî Beg and Latîfî tezkires in our thesis. İstitrâd is placing a corrolated subject in the main subject; to add richness and multiplicity for retaining reader?s interest on narrative subject. We tried to determine the location of istitrâd, assessing in Sehî Beg and Latîfî tezkires as a style property.Tezkire of Sehî Beg is the first tezkire of Anatolian region. Consequently Sehî Beg took a sample from the previous tezkires written on different areas and wrote his literary work with similar property. Depend on this, he narrate stories about some poets in his tezkire, which is suitable for the purpose of the story narration in the tezkires that he took model.Tezkire of Latîfî is the second tezkire which is written in Anatolian region. It is different from Tezkire of Sehî Beg in the style and content. It is also different from specified istitrâd in the story narration. Most of the stories which are narrated in Tezkire of Latîfî are adapted for a purpose. That is to say Latîfî produce a witness with the stories which he narrated for the idetification of some poets.
