Abstract (EN)

In this study; The relationship between green space in a city, time spent outside, social media addiction and psychological endurance has been investigated. The study group of the study has consisted of 800 females, 245 males, 1045 people between the ages of 18-65, from the provinces of Ankara, Antalya, Bursa, Gaziantep, Istanbul, Kayseri and Kocaeli. In the study; The Green Space in the City and Time Spent Survey Form, Bergen Social Media Addiction Scale and Adult Psychological Endurance Scale developed by the researcher have been used. As a result of the research; post-quarantina social media addiction level of participants having a green area near their homes have been found to be significantly lower than those not having green space near their homes. In addition, it has been determined that the psychological endurance of the participants and the presence of a green area near the house significantly has predicted post-quarantine social media addiction. The psychological endurance level of the participants who grow flowers at home have been found to be significantly higher than those who do not grow flowers at home. In addition, it has been observed that the participants who see the least green space from their home windows have the lowest psychological endurance score.
