Abstract (EN)

Process Management and Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) are important tools which are commonly used in product design and/or production process design studies. Usage of FMEA tool in public organizations are rare due to difficulties in measuring service quality in public organizations. In the first part of the study, some information about Process Management is given. In the second part, Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) technique, which is used as a preventive quality improvement tool at different companies, is reviewed. In the last part of the thesis, as a different application, a Failure Mode and Effects Analysis was applied to the process of Protection Planning against Sabotages within the Police Departments.
