In any country or region, the presence or development of tourism depends mainly on natural, historical and cultural spaces. Ecotourism is the most important sub-component of sustainable tourism in the context of evaluating natural and cultural resources. It is an increasing trend for people who are seeking tourism or leisure activities to choose this in natural areas. This study examines the cultural and natural values of the important areas around Şerife Baci Natural Park and describes the recreational and tourism activities on the ground, which are expressed using geographic information systems. Within the scope of the study, the site was assessed and the tourism potential of its immediate surroundings was determined. The study results show that Şerife Baci Natural Park has a rich potential in terms of ecotourism practices and that various possible ecotourism activities for Şerife Baci Natural Park are feasible. In addition, this study is important for the determination of ecotourism principles and multidisciplinary working goals in terms of the correct application of planning studies in the field of study.
